Small Business Relief Loan Program

In response to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Village of Grafton established an emergency loan program for small local businesses. The $125,000 fund will make loans available to qualifying local businesses up to $10,000 per loan on a first-come, first-served basis, effective May 20, 2020. The Small Business Relief Loan Program for Grafton businesses will remain in effect until funds are fully allocated or termination of the program by the Village Board.

Downtown Low Interest Loans

Bank Five Nine and the Village of Grafton are working together to promote business development in the Downtown area. This program, which provides low interest loans between $10,000 and $25,000, was established to help revitalization efforts, increase capital investments, support new and existing businesses in Downtown Grafton, and further the goals and objectives of the Downtown Master Plan.

South Commercial District Loan Interest Loans

Partnering with Port Washington State Bank, the Village of Grafton aims to revitalize the South Commercial District with low-cost loans between $5,000 and $50,000 for new and existing businesses. The purpose of these loans is to encourage new investment in commercial properties and strengthen our community by assisting with start-up and expansion costs.

Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund

The Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund program provides low interest loans to businesses that will be creating or retaining employment within the Village of Grafton. The program provides loans to businesses for working capital, equipment purchases, and property acquisitions. Eligible funds per project range between $10,000 and $35,000 per full-time job created or retained.
